FALLEN STARS ON SUN LIT PONDS

Its separate stars
That float and glisten
On sun lit ponds.
They mesmerize and hypnotize.
My thoughts begin to blend
And merge with floating stars.
I am one with you,
We share a common goal.
I see you now as stars again
So let me drown beneath your beauty
And free a floating soul.

Author’s Note: The glint on ponds on a sunny day always reminded me of stars. Ever since being in Ft Carson I have remembered being with a friend at an indoor swimming pool. The light was coming through the windows and it looked like stars on the surface. Then I was looking up at the stars from the bottom of the pool. I believe I had an epileptic seizure and fell in. My types of seizures are triggered by flashing lights and sirens.
