TRUE HOMELAND SECURITY!
How do you concede defeat while your heart still beats, how do you walk away from where the bones of your ancients lay how do you leave your homeland?
They fought long and stood strong women, men, and Elders, to keep the home of their spirits tired, broken, beaten, frozen, children crying oh, how deep this hurt?
Burned out, starved out, their children murdered or stolen; how my heart beats with pride at the stories of my ancestors’ strength.
What a people these were whose bloodlines disappear into the mists of time, whose heritage was so proud who loved their homeland more than their lives.
As they were forced to walk into the west the setting sun their only guide, to strange lands not their own; no history just the unknown.
How proud they lived how proudly they died for what they believed was right, misunderstood from the first though in truth most civilized these people.
History does not tell that it was greed and lies that caused the fight; that those who came wanted what did not belong to them and so with horror and violence they took it.
It is not taught as it should be, these were the ones with honor, the Tsalagi: it should be told were only defending their families and homelands!
