You see sad pictures on the internet or on T.V.
But you say I won't let that really bother me
I will change the channel or just hit delete
But isn't that really a form of personal deceit?
Do you turn your back on the African Child?
Those children who live in the African wild
HIV and AIDS took both Mom and Dad
There is no one left to feel bad or feel sad
They fill the orphanages and they live on the street
They have no shoes or clothes and very little to eat
These are the wee children of famine and war
So please ask yourself: "Can I do a little bit more?"
