Pulling the toboggan out there in the cold
Just last week we jumped from the warm planes
Wafting to the tundra. On Patrol once again

The Canadian Airborne Regiment they ventured forth
Maintained the true ownership of Canada’s North
Liberal Party PM and Mr. Collenette would disband
The Arctic Expertise that protected Canadian lands

Lightly oil the rifle sitting outside the tarp
Underneath the northern lights it is not too dark
Fill the stoves and lanterns thaw out some cans of meat
Remove socks and hang them up – gotta protect your feet!

Send a SITREP to St Hubert on the toboggan’s radio set
The drop of ammo, POL, Rat Packs, soon we will, all get
on that flat tundra grid reference, will we find it? You bet!
The toboggan we pull 10 miles per day, in the old Inuit way
