It’s been 40 years of love and true wedded bliss
We’ve never looked back from our very first kiss
From Cyprus, to Edmonton and our wee Sandra Anne
You made me a very, very happy young man

The twins were born our wee Paula and Mary
What a heavy hard burden, you had to carry!
And Bridey arrived as I studied Chinese
She had a big smile and cute dimpled wee knees!

You got your degrees, Bus Admin and the CGA
As I worked at the cop shop and earned a good pay
When the kids began Nursing, you went back again
Making us all so proud, when you received your R.N.

Together we’ve traveled the rough roads of life
Lynne you are a wonderful, deep loving wife!
You always share and you always care
Thank you Lynne, for always being there!
