SUDDEN DEATH REPORT

A man he called and here’s what he said
“There’s an old guy here and I think he’s dead.”
He was four days dead when found in bed.
“Quite ripe, quite ripe.” young Yvette said.

‘Twas Chinese wine that did him in
From drinking all that cooking vin
Along with beer and rye and gin
Excess! Excess – it is a sin!

Graham took photos at the scene
The flesh was pale and blue and green
The coroner was called and noted it all
The gruesome crew came back to the hall

The smell on their clothes
hung long in the air
the sudden death VIDE[•]
Was completed with CARE

The remains, to VGH they went
He end of a life not too well spent
I muttered a prayer under breath
For the victim of that sudden death;
