THE BOOMER CAP
The little Boomer Cap? Now what the heck is that?
It’s a wee new born baby’s warm woollen skull cap!
It helps to keep a new baby’s head free from the cold.
Andy Eykelenboom’s memorial etched in woollen gold.
Canadian women knit them, from coast to coast to coast.
They bring joy to new Mother’s in the 3rd world the most.
In Tanzania’s pastoral regions babies are born out on the land.
Boomer Caps, they save baby’s lives. That is Maureen’s plan.
The caps keep alive the memory of Moe’s Medic care giver Soldier Son.
The caps are a life saving little tool in the hands of each 3rd world Mom.
We appreciate our knitters and we all like what they do.
You can send them to ICROSS CANADA when the knitting is through.
We will send them out through HPIC or the Compassionate Ministry.
Your work can be sent to: ICROSS CANADA Post Office Box 3,
Saanichton, British Columbia, Canada, V8M 2C3.
Thank you from Maureen and bless you from me.
