IZZY DOLL ANGELS
A wee Izzy Doll Angel Sits on my desk shelf
In memory of a man who gave, all of himself!
75,000 Izzy comfort dolls we’ve shipped overseas
For the children famine, war and disease
My buddy Mike Comeau collects dolls for HPIC
To go out in PTPs for poor kids who are sick!
Don Ethell has knitters o’er in Calgary,
Who knit and send dolls to the kids in Haiti
We’ve shipped Izzy Dolls to the camps in Darfur
For the genocide survivors, the wee children of war
Zimbabwe, Malawi, Rwanda, Mozambique
Get meds wrapped in dolls for the kids who are sick!
As I look at this wee angel, this Mark Isfeld Doll
Thinking back on Mark’s tours where he answered the call
Mark is an inspiration and a hero to us all
His Mom Carol is the founder of our present comfort doll!
So thank you Carol for sending me
This Doll of Comfort called: “Izzy”
Thank you too for the following Poem
That’s in a place of honour in my home!

AN ICROSS ANGEL GUARD
Somewhere in the heavens
“Izzy’s” watching step by step
He’s quite aware of all the love
And his Mother’s promise kept!
It’s grown to such proportions.
Loving helpers came on board.
Two different kinds of babies.
Mark’s spirit simply soared!
First his buddies felt some peace.
Mom’s helpers felt love in spades:
Then came Willie and daughters
To soothe the pain of kids with aids!
There’s helpers on his Mother’s side
The “ICROSS” Medicine and Comfort Dolls too!
Mark became the proudest Angel!
