ADVICE TO MY GRANDCHILDREN

The mentally ill on the street where the pot smoker’s meet
Have their own self inflicted psychosis
And after years on the dope that leaves little hope
Reports a recent British medical prognosis

Hallucinations and delusions are their conclusions,
About long term pot smokers in their study.
Developing a psychotic illness, a clear 41%
Suffering schizophrenia, results are evident.

Canada has the heaviest use of Marijuana on earth
So what are our future generation now worth?
The drugs make you lazy and then make you crazy
Best advice; give these drugs a wide berth!

What effect does this have on each kid?
When they are smoking that pot like they did
Is it too unkind to say they’ll lose their mind?
When they do, it’s too late, to forbid!

The kids sleep on the street in the doorways they reek
Whilst begging for coins to buy dope
Then to needle exchange they progress up the chain
To a line where there is little hope!

Would I have a doped up jumper behind me in the stick?
Not if I didn’t want to die real quick
Would you have your pilot who’s flying your plane
Smoking dope to the point where he goes insane?

You are best to keep clear wherever you go
Stay away from the dopers who say they’re in the know
See the crazy’s with the cups as you walk down the street
It’s the result of pot smoking and a personal defeat!!!

LONDON / Using marijuana increases the risk of one day developing a psychotic illness such as schizophrenia, according to a study that provides some of the strongest evidence yet linking the drug to a mental disorder.

The researchers found that marijuana users had a 41 per cent increased chance of developing psychosis marked by symptoms of hallucinations or delusions later in life than those who never used the drug.
