Bombardier Myles Mansell
Hometown Reserve Soldier comes home to Victoria, BC: Bombardier Myles Mansell was born on 5th of August 1980. He and three other soldiers were killed on the morning of the 22 April 2006 when their armoured vehicle drove over a roadside explosive, flipping the vehicle on a stretch of road between Gumbad Village and Kandahar Airfield, in Afghanistan.

Under new freedom rules woman attend school
protected by NATO troops and the state

Canadians like us are filled with disgust
When our young men lie dead in the dust
Terrorists continue to spread death and fear
and Canada’s Mission now becomes quite clear

Our veterans formed up for a church parade
A Padre gave a sermon – the congregation prayed
Al Qaeda continues to spread hated terror and fear
Canada said goodbye to a young Bombardier
