He will never soon be released or ever get out on bail.
Sulaiman Abu Ghaith he’s a scourge to the human race.
Preaching murder the Infidels – what a global disgrace!

For forty six long years of firefights and Golan strife.
The loss of our Colonel George A. Flint, who gave up his life:
A Canadian WW2 and KVA veteran plus a peacekeeping man.
He died giving aid of the wounded on the Heights of Golan.

Now our peacekeepers are captured by an Islamist Terrorist Group!
Let us all pray for the fate of these United Nations Peace Keeping Troops.
Islamists plan to take over Syria once Assad is gone down to defeat.
With these Islamist brotherhood terrorists there will be no peace!

BEIRUT – Syrian rebels have seized a convoy of United Nations peacekeepers near the Golan Heights and say they will hold them captive until President Bashar al-Assad’s forces pull back from a rebel-held village, which has seen heavy recent fighting.

The capture was announced in rebel videos posted on the Internet and confirmed on Wednesday by the United Nations, which said about 20 peacekeepers had been detained.

The seizure is the most direct threat to UN personnel in the nearly two-year-old uprising against Assad, and Human Rights Watch said it was investigating the same brigade for past executions.

It came on the day Britain said it would increase aid to the opposition forces and the Arab League gave a green light to member states to arm the rebels.

The Arab League also invited the opposition Syrian coalition to take Syria’s seat at a meeting of the regional body in Doha later this month. Syria was suspended in November 2011 in response to its crackdown on protests, which has since spiralled into civil war.

In the latest attack by the Syrian military, warplanes bombarded the north-eastern provincial capital of Raqqa for a second consecutive day on Wednesday, killing at least 39 people, opposition activists said. Video footage showed fighters putting dismembered bodies in an ambulance.
UN peacekeepers have been monitoring a ceasefire line between Syria and the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, captured by the Jewish state in a 1967 war, for nearly four decades.

The United Nations in New York said its peacekeepers had been detained by around 30 fighters in the Golan Heights. The Security Council and Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, condemned the seizure.

WASHINGTON – Osama bin Laden’s spokesman and son-in-law has been captured by the United States, officials said Thursday, in what a senior congressman called a
“very significant victory” in the fight against al-Qaeda.

Sulaiman Abu Ghaith is expected to be in U.S. federal court in New York today in an initial hearing to face terror charges.

The case marks a legal victory for the Obama administration, which has long sought to charge senior al-Qaeda suspects in U.S. federal courts instead of military tribunals
at the detention centre at Guantanamo Bay.

Representative Peter King, the former chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, credited the CIA and FBI with catching al Qaeda propagandist, Abu Ghaith, in Jordan in the last week. He said the capture was confirmed to him by U.S. law enforcement officials.

A Jordanian security official confirmed that Abu Ghaith was handed over last week to U.S. law-enforcement officials under an extradition treaty.

Abu Ghaith, stripped of his Kuwaiti citizenship, became an international name in 2001 when he appeared on pan-Arab satellite television urging Muslims everywhere to fight the United States and warning of more attacks similar to those of Sept. 11.

In one video, he was seen sitting with bin Laden in front of a rock face in Afghanistan.
