JOHN LABELLE GIVES THEM HELL

Our claw back coordinator works for you and for me
All of us old military veterans along with the RCMP
ANAVETS and RC LEGIONS all across this Nation
See our clawed back pensions as an abomination!

Trouble is an election will soon raise its ugly head?
Many of our oldest veterans are clearly nearly dead
Liberales, they started the civilian types of pensions
Creating a claw back, – they forgot to really mention

The Block with Greens and the former commie NDP
They’ll do away with the claw back for you and me
The gomery-gate libranos created this cash bovine!
Winning they’d regret removing it from the scene?

That leaves my party the Reforms and each Tory
Saying they are supporters of vets and their glory
John Labelle he sticks with it-he keeps on trying!
Fighting a claw back fight as veterans are dying

If the powers wait long enough we will all pass away
Replaced by Afghanistan vets at the end of the day
Eventually de Bureaucrats de Government must pay
The Canadian Voting Public will soon have their say

So listen up politicians – here’s a truth I will now tell
Pay attention to the petition led by our John Labelle
Do away with the claw back and now right this wrong
And the Tories will sing clearly their victory war song

In response to this poem, John LaBelle wrote:

Billy,

You may think that I have forgotten about this poem evolving around me and the Claw Back issue. I have not. I read it quite often; I will print it in larger letters, frame it and post it in my little office. Billy, I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to write such beautiful poetry. I am but a simple person, honest and dedicated to the cause. I will fight long and hard. The efforts that you and thousands of supporters freely give to our Veterans Campaign boost my energy level.

Again, Billy I send you my most sincere appreciation for your support and kindness. I read all your e-mails. I may not be able to answer them all. I have 48 e-mails in my inbox and I do my very best to answer all questions pertaining to the Campaign.

May God bless you and your Family!

Sincerely,

John Labelle
