William H.A. Willbond MSM, CD

My buddy Mike has joined the fight
Because of his clawed back pension
Like many, many of his Army friends
They all have a bone of contention!

For years now, activist veteran John Labelle
Reported to Government and tried to tell
The latest Government of the day
That old age veterans were losing pay!

Civvies’ wrote a bureaucratic explanatory note
Each time the Country was called to vote
The time has now come to cancel this form letter,
old veterans and federal cops deserve much better!

So pass the word with Mikie and Me
Support the CF Veterans and the RCMP
Get everyone you know to sign the attached note
And when the time comes, get out and vote!

Sign www.petitiononline.com/vets8
Do it right now – it’s not too late!
Join the thousands and thousands who along with Mike
Seek justice and fairness to end this fight for right!

Subject: Please sign our Veteran’s Petition

Veterans, Family, and Friends:

Please read of this injustice and consider signing our Retired Veterans (Military & RCMP) Petition against reduction in our pensions at age 65.

If you have not already done so, any Canadian can support this petition. This was not an agreed-upon ”bridging formula” but simply an unjust “claw-back” which was done by our government without allowing us any options. Thank you for your consideration and time.

On a personal note: I was clawed-back $241.00 per month from my military pension at age 65. I guess I’m supposed to eat dog food for the rest of my life? You might also notice that our MPs, MPPs, and Senators “do not” have any claw-back to their pensions at any age!
