'Twas a very sad way to see an old familiar face
Scottie defended members of the human race
His newspaper obit made me very sad to-day
This man was really AIRBORNE, AIRBORNE all the way!

He often drifted down on soft silken wing
down at Pegasus Dock we could hear him sing
AIRBORNE, AIRBORNE, who are we?
We're the best dammed soldiers in the RCOC!
