A FOND FAREWELL TO WES BRYNELL

Wes was a featherweight Boxer who could fight like hell.
Known to many Canadian Service personnel was Sgt Maj Brynell.
A Golden gloves champ, Wesley hung around with Rocky Graziano.
Our Wesley, he fought under his ring name of Young Tony Janerio.
In the Navy in WW2 Wes played in Marching Naval Military Bands.
In the RCAF in the SO’s as a rec spec he promoted boxing to each man.
He was an easygoing hurricane with unbelievable punching hands.
Wes was a powerful hitter: watching his lightening fists was grand.
Farewell Sergeant Major Wes Brynell on your journey to the big gym in the sky.
Our team has lost another, hard working, well-remembered P.T.I.:
An old muscle bosun who worked on bases all across this Nation.
Wes has finally gone home to rest, in the heavens, on vacation.

RIP Wes From your buddy, Dale Dirks
