ELECTION DAY, 2004

Election Day, 2004, has come and gone;
American voters turnout-a record drawn.
Freedom succeeded, a choice was made,
Pleasing some, leaving others afraid.

The greatest thing to befall this land,
America's voices together were band.
To vote, amass, a choice, Commander In Chief
Who will represent America in his 2nd term leaf.

We pray for him and the decisions he makes;
It touches all lives around these United States.
We ask for Peace, worldwide indeed,
That our Forces come home, fulfilled in their need.

We ask for prosperity in jobs and finances;
Unemployment and poverty now, too high the chances.
We need strong leadership, economical fruition.
God grant us these Blessings throughout all this Nation.

Mr. Bush, congratulations, but remember our pleas
For a stronger, better, safer Nation, please?
We are willing to work, assist neighbors and friends,
But we want our military home safe - won't you please send them?

United we are as citizens, human beings,
Voters showed their faith on this auspicious evening.
Please lead us onward to a secure American Life;
Help us all end all this suffering and strife.

Help our own peoples, rebuild families and friendships;
Join us all as American Citizens.
