CHILDREN OF THE MOUNTAINS
Crying for peace day and night
They are vanished in the daylight
Buried under rubbles in a pile
Have not seen peace in a long while
Phi-di-Bao children are crying for help
Signs of agony could be seen in their yelp
Searching for peace and signs of hope
The pain is out of their scope
Families are destroyed one after the other
Every child is losing father and mother
We have not seen anything harsher so far
Than a cruel and ruthless war
Wild flowers are grown with human blood
Truong Son Mountains streams are carrying red flood
Praying to Almighty Lord
To disable the bloody sword
Put mercy in the killer’s heart
To stop breaking his nation apart.
