heart caressing it all
ice-covered buds in crystal shimmer
branches bowing down
misty, dreamy haze
pale, lemon sun
promise of tomorrow’s riches
oaks, maples, junipers
myriad greens
clothing trunks and branches
velvet mossy roofs
the dens are hidden
underneath a gorgeous mess
of branches intertwined
unique and indescribably perfect
my universe on rusted clay
the treasures to explore
from ancient ocean waves
belonging here
smile deepening in gratitude
for nothing lost at all
returning to
this place
where peace and love hold hands.
