SNOW-COVERED STREETS OR UNEMBEDDED
Lively moments compressed
Only yesterday, explode,
Oriented towards a new aesthetic,
As wise solutions keep us from
Flinging our arms around artificial
Problems, reminding us that it is
No crime to listen the trees.
No injustice. We walk calmly
Across snow-covered streets,
Reaching out in friendship,
Regenerating neglected yearnings.
This human approach leads us to
Enduring resolutions. Poetry’s voice
Leads us to a festival of rich possibility.
We listen. We feel. We shape new
Stories. We birth new norms.
