REMEMBERING SEPTEMBER 11

We watched the towers fall
We felt spirit rise
Evil struck at us all
Because we had freedom in our eyes.

A cowards attempt to Rule
Behind a pure belief
Proved only to be cruel
To bury innocence in grief.

Ground Zero unites U.S. now
The Twins fell with family and friends
We observe their fate and vow
To fight as a nation of brethren.

You killed innocence
and attack a free home
Your bile is purulent
Our strength is clearly shone.

We honor our hero’s
Who bravely met your blow
We observe Ground Zero
And now calmly know

We are a family you cannot defeat
We won’t run and hide in rock
We won’t send our young and our meek
To send a country into shock

We will stand strong
Our children will grow
To remember and belong
To the Freedom that we know.

The Freedom to protect
Our dignity saved
We will always reflect
and remember…
We are The Home of The Brave.
