We have two choices I deplore
Tax and spend or tax and war
I don’t want any taxes anymore
Let’s stay home and tend our shore

We don’t need a president leading us
No one can gain the peoples’ trust
The people will do what they must
To keep this country from turning to dust

Vote for no election is what I say
My conviction and where I’ll stay
It’s on my mind when I start my day
And will be until election is under way
