DOLORES

Dolores was like a humming bird
She flitted from here to there
She always had the kindest word
She always had a smile to spare

Red slippers on her tiny feet
A red ribbon in her auburn hair
Her hand was always out to greet
She always had a story to share

She loved the people in her town
She loved her friends across the way
Dolores never wore a frown
Her skies were never gray

She was infectious with her energy
She had an enticing mysterious flair
She was a joyous sight to see
When she flitted from here to there
