ADELAIDE
Adelaide often stayed
At the base of Glacier Peak
Every day she climbed the grade
For the best part of a week
Adelaide loved to climb
To the peak up in the clouds
Every day when she had time
She avoided the weekend crowd
Adelaide moved her camp
To the base of Tumble Mountain
Where the ground was damp
Around the water fountain
Tumble Mountain was hard to climb
Coming down was even harder
It cost a quarter and a dime
For her to use a pompier ladder
