GOD WANTS YOU FOR A SUNBEAM

Relax
Let your light shine
Even in the darkest wood
Light filters through
Catching the leaves
Dancing on the breeze
Making it a magical place

Let your light flow like a beam
Into the smoke like atmosphere
Of the dankness of sameness
Sunlight brightens secret places
Giving it a stillness
Only experience can explain
Separate the woods from the trees
By moving between
Lighting up the ground
That you touch
With a warmth few know
In so doing
Awaken the seed
Quietly waiting for your light
Your warmth
Your energy
To break forth
To take the leap
Reach for the light
Flower in your presence
Allowing it to spread its seed
Farther and farther
Till it reaches the light outside
Where the wood cannot go
Breaking into the light of the world
Even for a short time
And in so doing
Paves the way for future generations
