BEGINNING
Seed fell into the ground and was afraid
Sun came and warmed them
Rain came and nurtured them
Soon they began to break from their bonds
Headed for the light above
But were stopped
Concert slab was strong under people’s feet
He barred the way to the light
But seed prevailed
Concrete broke under seeds intrusive growth
And freedom was its reward
Sun smiled and rain wept for joy
And as each human does the same
And exits the darkness
So you will see the sun again and smile
