A combat Veteran, Jim served in Vietnam from March of 1966 to March of 1967 with Company B, 2nd/18th Inf., 1st Inf. Div located a Dion Vietnam. At the time 2/18 was the ready reactionary unit for 1st Div.
A writer of stories and poems from grade school on, upon his return from Vietnam Jim found his writing helped him to understand where he had been and what he had done. “Simply said, it helped me to come home.” Today Jim is mostly retired and lives on a small farm, writes, and make Native American Flutes, when he has time.
