A mourning dove has sought its nest
in a heavenly haven of rest
in a place of peace and light
… onward… upward in flight
flying free… no longer in pain
Much needed rest is now gained
Leaving Earthy cares here alone…
angels have welcomed her home
and will keep her forever safe in God’s trust
