It started in Alabama…
this prelude to melodrama
They have taken away the plaque and stone
on which the Ten Commandments were shown
…… You cannot see it anymore… it is gone
and Judge Roy… his gavel is no more
Now it is said they are coming… door to door
collecting that which offends still more…
for to cleanse this land… they must
of our nasty money… coins and paper…
…………… for it reads ‘In God We Trust’
