Faye Sizemore

After midnight
A telephone rings
Talk to us of funny things
Help us say goodbye
Quick before we cry
You remember them so well
On the happy times we dwell
Friendship is what counts at the end
And you have been our true friend
Taking a piece of our hearts with you
Friend let us vow our friendship anew
As we give you into the angels keeping
For then will come our time of weeping
And when that time of grieving is past
We will have memories of you to last
May the angels take you gently in
To keep you… until we meet again
