The seeds of hatred
… are very deeply sown…
sometimes from childhood on…
until some people are grown

The seeds of hatred were deeply sowed
when small pox blankets were passed out
… a pretense to keep Indians from the cold
‘Take a handkerchief too’ was the shout

‘We are the Master Race…’
A madman degreed to a nation of sheep
Six million Jews were put to sleep
The seeds of hatred Hitler sowed deep

In Vietnam… Asia’s dark war…
seeds of hatred were so deeply sowed
VC mothers strapped bombs to their babies
… and laid them crying… by the road

‘An eye for an eye; a tooth for a tooth;
Vengeance is mine saith the lord ‘
Not true with Allah’s Horde
we have witnessed this as truth…

Into the Towers and Pentagon
… three planes were flown
with no regard for lives
… not even their own

In the Sudan the seeds too are sown
Starvation and genocide daily go on
The Darfur children will never be grown
as some deal them death as not their own

The seeds of hatred are deeply sown
Behold the harvest they have grown…
