TWO FACES OF WAR
Our country has two faces
With each a different scene
In this war in foreign places
No disrespect do we mean
Although this world is crying
Our pleas could still be heard
Today we pray for the dying
Ask for wisdom in His word
When I see Old Glory waving
I am proud of our great land
While peace still I am craving
This war is hard to understand
One side stands up for peace
The other side says go to war
But to those soldiers overseas
We’ll honor you forever more
Even today around this nation
Yellow ribbons we all can see
For homecoming celebrations
Tied around the old oak trees
For our principals we can stand
Without closing peaceful doors
When we all love this great land
We’ll see Two Faces of a War
