Terry spent three years, one month, five days, twelve hours and seven minutes in the US Army. He started out as a Teletype Repairman and ended up a Signal Corps First Lieutenant. Stationed in Germany until his assignment to Vietnam in 1968, he remained in-country until April 1969.
