For Zachary – Love You Forever
Today you stepped upon the bus
My son so precious to me
A little boy with so much love
You’re so precious Zachary
You took your seat and waved goodbye
Then blew a kiss to me
So young and innocent… you didn’t care
That all your friends could see
I watched through happy tears of love
I thought how you would grow
I wondered if you’d get to big
For your love to freely show
But when you’re too big
To hug me in front of your friends
I’ll remember the kiss you threw to me
And a love too big to end
And if I go before you
To Heaven’s golden streets
You will feel my kisses
When raindrops touch your cheeks
