THINKING

I think too much or so I’m told
I’ve always been that way
Too often overanalyzing
Things that fill my day

I think too much or so it seems
A thing that costs me dear
I don’t like lies, or truth disguised
I like to see it clear

Now oversimplifying
Is indeed my major sin
And there’s been lots of trouble
That my thinking’s got me in

I’ve always had an issue
With the ones who always say
Don’t worry you can trust them now
Just shut up and obey

In my world of many questions
There are answers I can’t find
But that’s the price you pay
When you get lost inside your mind
