THE SEEKER

In the confines of the canyons
Of my convoluted mind
There is far too little reason
For this seeker there to find

Have you ever chose surrender
When you faced too much of might
Knowing if you turn away
That it will find you in the night

Know that on this journey taken
There are bills that must come due
Always you must choose to battle
When it’s time for facing you
