SOFT SPEAK
Sometimes when I’m quiet
He will whisper in my play
And point out things that I had not
Remembered in my day
When the world is full of anger
And the sky is full of gray
Then you’ve got to let the joy
Inside your heart come out and play
You’re the keeper of your spirit
On this journey through the night
Keep your eyes upon the prize
And do not fear to face the fight
Know that life’s a celebration
And each day’s a second chance
Although it may be raining
Don’t forget that you can dance
And always as He leaves me
He will leave a thought so true
That you’re made of me my child
And I am also made of you
