REPETITIOUS BABBLE

Too often I will wander
Through the canyons of my mind
Compelled to walk a road
And seek the answers I can’t find

A path that everyone must take
A winding road at best
For we’re just fleeting moments
Caught up in life’s endless quest

I still prefer the highlands
And the rising roads for me
For it leads back to the sunlight,
Where all of us can see

Can’t let the pain of this world
Ever harden in your heart
Because if you get careless
It will tear your world apart

It’s only when we take the time
To stop and choose to love
That is the only time we ever
Shine for Him above
