PASSAGE

Do not be afraid of where
I journey to my friend
It is a place I do not fear
Though it is called the end

Reality is overflowing
With what we are not
And filled with what will never be
And that’s a tragic thought

Pay no mind of me
For I was never truly here
I left so long ago
Back in that place of sudden fear

The road of possibilities
Too often takes a turn
That leads us back into the storm
Where we will never learn

I travel to the brightest day
Where shadows never rule
Where peace is always treasured
And where hate can never rule
