ENOUGH

Is it not enough to know
I gave my very best
To make this world a better place
Until that day I rest?

Is it not enough to know
I tried to do what’s right
By lifting those beside the road
Who fell and lost their sight?

Is it not enough to know
I gave until the end
And never turned my back
Upon the ones that I call friend?

Upon my journey through this world
Too often cold and rough
The question still it lingers in me
Did I do enough?
