Where is it now I wonder?
That our dreams too often go
Dreams that somehow fade away
As slowly we all grow

Does growing old destroy them?
And take all they can mean
Or is it time that loses rhyme
And takes what we would dream

Like seeds born from a dandelion,
Now so gently blown
I set my dreams adrift within the wind
To find a home

They wander through the sky in hopes
Of finding common ground
My dreams will always be my friend
My dreams are where I’m bound

I try with all my might
To somehow keep this world at bay
My dreams I won’t surrender
I won’t let them slip away

Dreams belong in every life
Your dreams are yours to know
And they will never fade
Unless you choose to let them go
