DOUBTFUL

Staring out the window
Waiting for the morning sky
Thinking of the two of them,
Who let me have this try?

Did I let them down in this?
For giving me a chance
I’ve had my doubts about my walk
And how I learned to dance

They sacrificed so much
And always tried to help me grow
They taught me how to fly
And then said son it’s time to go

I never thanked them near enough
For giving me this sky
Can’t tell you how I miss them
Every day that passes by
