I’ve always turned into the wind
I know no other way
A walk my Father taught me
That I still do every day
Perhaps a smoother course
I could have chosen in the past
But there’s no turning back for me
And time moves by so fast
The sea and me have always been
A stormy match at best
But that’s the life a sailor knows
Each day you face the test
