STRANGER
I’ve always been the stranger
Kept my distance from them all
That said I wasn’t welcome
So I had to make the call
I’ve always been the stranger
Just a few that I call friend
And they are very precious
For they guard me till the end
Perhaps I went too far but
I did what I thought was best
I’m not the brightest crayon
In the box with all the rest
I’ll always be that stranger
Passing by you in the day
And all I ask of you
Is just don’t try to block my way
