SAILOR
Each night I lose safe harbor
Leave a shelter I have sought
To sail again into the storm
And face the war I fought
I know my aging vessel
Cannot stand the pounding sea
But I’m a sailor born
And there’s no other way for me
We all must face the cost of
Every day that we have known
We all must pay a price for
Everything that we have sown
And though this angry sea will bring
A time my ship will fail
Into the storm I still must go
For I was born to sail
