REFLECTING
What have I done now momma
At the ending of my day
I should have gone much further
But got lost along the way
Too much I see is still undone
In need of such repair
If we don’t stop and fix it
We aren’t going anywhere
Reflecting leaves the question
Did I help along the way
As the hour glass grows empty
And insists it have a say
But hindsight’s twenty-twenty
At the end I see so clear
A nation kept divided
And a nation run by fear
