PACK MAN
There are times I’m overrun
Can’t hold it anymore
Thoughts I can’t contain of things
That happened in the war
Sometimes I simply can’t restrain
My anger and my tears
And so I bow my head
To ask my friend to take my fears
Those days my pack’s too heavy,
Those days the straps cut deep
This pack that I must carry
Of these memories that I keep
Those times I cannot leave behind
Those times that I have known
As softly He reminds me
That I do not walk alone
