OVERSIMPLIFICATION

The sacrilege of silence
When you know what must be said
Is that those who call for battle
Are not found among the dead

It’s the ones who scream the loudest
You will not find near the fight
For it’s your blood they would sacrifice
So they can feel their might

And those who call for peace will
Be the same who cried for war
Only they have just lost interest
In what they were fighting for

These masters of the mayhem
These writers of the play
These cowards who behave as Gods
With the lives they throw away
