GRADUATION DAY

It was a momentary madness
An affair still in my dreams
An exchange of passions to the point
Of no return it seems

In a dialogue so deadly
We debated how we feel
Discussing power issues
Using only words of steel

A cold initiation
Where we left the child we knew
An angry confrontation
With opposing points of view

In a lightning education
Where each side had much to say
As we fought for our diplomas
On that graduation day
