IT’S “WELCOME HOME VIETNAM VETERANS” DAY

To a bond that can’t be broken
Of brothers far and wide
For the words that go unspoken
Of others who have died

We’ll lift our cups to each today
With thanks to grunts and God
As those of us remaining say
“Welcome Home” with knowing nod!
