TOLERANCE

Tolerance is never a weak act of submission,
For tolerance flows out from strong caring hearts.
Compassion causing animosity’s remission,
Bringing enrichment of soul, profound courage imparts.

Strength of self, love of God, walking in another’s shoes,
From this marinade of compassions inspiration springs.
Eternal partnership of new discovery’s coup,
Godliness over humanness, earth hears heaven sing…

Tolerance does not decree wrong to be right
Yet understands the glorious tapestry of life
That makes each hue glow in God’s resplendent light
Human rainbow canvas spread with a loving palette knife
